By placing an order with Janafoods, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

About Janafoods

Janafoods is a small-batch cookie and pastry business operating in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We sell preorder food products for local pickup and delivery within Calgary.

Preorder Model

All Janafoods products are sold on a preorder basis. We prepare limited weekly batches and cannot guarantee availability. Your order is only confirmed once payment has been received. We reserve the right to cancel an order if a product is no longer available, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Payment

Full payment is required at the time of checkout to confirm your order. We accept payment through Shopify's secure checkout. By submitting your order, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown at checkout.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where required by law. We reserve the right to adjust prices at any time. Prices at the time of your confirmed order will apply to that order.

Food Safety & Allergens

Janafoods products are prepared in a kitchen environment that handles wheat, dairy, eggs, nuts, sesame, soy, and other common allergens. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. It is your responsibility to review the allergen information on each product page before ordering. If you have a food allergy, contact us before placing your order. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the allergen information and accept responsibility for any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Pickup & Delivery

By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, including being available during your confirmed pickup or delivery window. Failure to collect your order as arranged may result in forfeiture without a refund.

Cancellations & Refunds

Please review our Refund & Cancellation Policy before ordering. By placing an order you acknowledge and agree to those terms.

Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions, photos, prices, and availability. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content is complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product we offer is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it unused in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Janafoods shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or services, including but not limited to allergic reactions where allergen information was disclosed, missed pickups or deliveries where notice was provided, or any loss arising from order cancellations beyond our control.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our store after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
